The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and the Turkish Armed Forces brought their personnel together for training in urban and mountain search and rescue, as well as K9 operations.

The activity aimed to develop the participants’ professional skills and knowledge, encourage cooperation between teams, and create opportunities to exchange practical experience in search-and-rescue operations, the KSF said.
The program included theoretical sessions and practical exercises. Participants worked on search-and-rescue techniques in damaged buildings and mountainous areas, the use of K9 dogs, and procedures for coordination and response during emergencies.
According to the KSF, the training helped improve professional capabilities, operational readiness, and the interoperability of teams with partners in the field of search and rescue.
