Following the arrests and the discovery of mass graves in Zubin Potok, lawyer Arianit Koci has raised questions about the fate of people who went missing during the last war in Kosovo.

In a statement published on Facebook, Koci said evidence was emerging that could be linked to serious crimes committed during the war.
According to him, after state authority was extended to northern Kosovo, two mass graves were found in Zubin Potok, where the remains of 11 people were discovered. He said that a third location was also being investigated.
Koci stressed that there were suspicions that these remains could belong to 23 intellectuals abducted in Mitrovica on April 19, 1999.
The lawyer credited Albin Kurti, saying that he had not backed down in the face of pressure.
In conclusion, Koci raised the question of whether Serbia’s insistence on northern Kosovo could also be linked to efforts to conceal war crimes.
