A five-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle on Saturday evening at the intersection of Via Pinelli and Via dell’Industria in Turin.

Preliminary investigations have identified the driver as the child’s father’s former girlfriend. Authorities are examining the possibility that the collision was deliberate and not the result of an accident or careless driving.
The child was walking with his parents when he was struck by the vehicle. The incident caused fear and distress among the family, as well as local residents.
