VMRO-DPMNE, the governing party, has once again reacted to the internal clashes within SDSM. MP Brane Petrushevski said that Macedonia needs a strong opposition force, not an SDSM in its current state, which, according to him, attributes every responsibility to VMRO-DPMNE.

Petrushevski accused SDSM leader Venko Filipche of inciting panic and hysteria. He also said that Filipche claims Mickoski supports a platform created by former and current SDSM officials.
“According to Filipche, VMRO-DPMNE is responsible for everything, even developments taking place within his own party. If Filipche chooses to act solely through the hysteria he is spreading, focusing on criticism and attacks against everyone and everything, including former party colleagues, members and former party officials, then he is clearly pursuing the wrong course. VMRO-DPMNE, as the force currently leading the government, will continue to focus on caring for citizens. With good intentions, we suggest that Filipche set aside his despair and attacks. Macedonia needs a strong opposition, not an SDSM like the current one, which blames VMRO-DPMNE for everything,” declared Brane Petrushevski.
