An unusual theft has been reported at a technical inspection station in the Čair area.

According to police information, the incident took place from 3:00 p.m. on September 26 until 2:42 a.m. on September 27.
Unidentified individuals forcibly entered the facility located on “Aleksandar Urdarevski” Street. From the manager’s office, they took only the receiver device for the video surveillance system.
The perpetrators also broke into the entrances of a bank branch and the Ministry of Internal Affairs office, both of which are located inside the same facility. However, no items were found to have been stolen from either of these two areas.
“On September 27, 2026, at 2:42 a.m., the Skopje Police Department was informed that, during the period from 3:00 p.m. on September 26, 2026, until the time of the report, a technical inspection station facility on ‘Aleksandar Urdarevski’ Street, in the Čair area, had been forcibly entered, and the receiver device of the video surveillance system had been taken from the manager’s office. Police officers went to the scene, where it was established that a bank branch and the Ministry of Internal Affairs office, both located within the facility, had also been forcibly entered, but nothing had been taken. An on-site inspection was carried out, and measures are being taken to clarify the case,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
