Relatives of the victims of the explosion that occurred on Friday in the Plaka area of Greece have arrived in the Greek capital, while procedures for receiving the victims’ bodies continue. The serious incident took place in a building in the Plaka area, where the explosion caused the building to collapse and claimed the lives of several people.

Among the victims are Florin Hoxha, his sister Florida Hoxha, Eris Cani, Florin Hoxha’s wife, Ian Alexander Kirpatrick, Florida Hoxha’s husband, as well as the building owners, Edmond Hings and Athina Papapresku. Greek authorities are continuing investigations to determine the causes of the explosion and the circumstances that led to the building’s collapse, while the overall death toll from the incident is reported at six victims, including the four Albanians.
