European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will visit the Western Balkan countries this week.

Her tour begins on Wednesday, September 30, in Tirana. According to the schedule published on the European Commission’s website, she will meet there with President Bajram Begaj and Albania’s Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
On October 1, von der Leyen will be in Kosovo, where she will hold separate meetings with Acting President Albulena Haxhiu and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
That same day, she will also visit Podgorica, and on October 2 she will be in Skopje.
