Intelligence reports indicate that Russia may be preparing further acts of sabotage in Europe, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said.

Speaking ahead of the EU defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels, Kallas said countries should remain vigilant. Russia aims to attack democracy, divide society and intimidate people into not supporting Ukraine, she said.
Kallas also said the European Union needs more ships to make the “Shield” mission, which aims to protect ships in the Red Sea, fully operational.
Arriving at the meeting of European defense ministers, she urged member states to contribute more to the mission. However, no new commitments have been made so far.
