The trial against Festim Ramadani, a former police officer, and Jeton Misini, who are accused of murdering Sadri Sadriu, has begun at the Basic Court in Ferizaj.

Both defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
The indictment alleges that on August 16, 2024, during a wedding ceremony, Festim Ramadani, allegedly driven by family motives and seeking revenge, fired a burst of gunfire at Sadri Sadriu. According to the Prosecution, he used the police’s official automatic weapon and acted deliberately, intending to take the victim’s life, while the incident took place in the presence of dozens of people.
Jeton Misini is accused of intentionally assisting Ramadani in carrying out the murder. According to the indictment, equipped with blunt objects, he secured the perimeter of the attack and prevented possible intervention, enabling Ramadani to commit the criminal offense of aggravated murder without obstruction.
