A television broadcast in Poland was interrupted by a serious accident when a car struck a 14-year-old girl. At the time, the reporter was covering another tragic accident at the scene where it had occurred.

The collision happened in Koscierzyna as the girl was riding an electric scooter. Live footage shows the car hitting her, throwing her onto its windshield and then several meters away.
The cameraman kept filming as the vehicle sped away down a side road.
TVP reporter Milosz Sieliwonczyk was covering another serious accident when he heard the impact.
“Suddenly I heard a crash behind me and the cameraman shouted, ‘Oh God!’ When I turned around, I saw a car driving away with a broken windshield and a child lying in the road,” he said.
The reporter asked the cameraman to keep filming and capture the car’s license plate so the footage could be given to police.
Both men immediately went to the girl. She could not get up, and there were bloodstains on the scooter. Emergency services were alerted without delay and arrived within minutes.
The girl asked to call her mother, who arrived shortly afterward. She was taken to hospital for examinations and, according to reports, had not suffered serious injuries.
A few minutes after the accident, the driver returned to the scene. According to the reporter, he got out of the car and asked whether anything had happened.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the collision.
The reporter was in the area to cover the accident in which a 3-year-old child died after being hit by a car.
The child’s parents pulled him out from under the vehicle. Firefighters and then medical teams tried for a long time to resuscitate him, but he died from his injuries.
Just days earlier, another tragic accident in Poland claimed the life of 20-year-old footballer Oskar Kordus. His car struck a deer that had first been hit by a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The animal ended up in Kordus’s lane and came through the BMW’s windshield.
The car left the road and ended up in a ditch. Despite doctors’ efforts, the 20-year-old did not survive.
