Ziadin Sela, chairman of the Albanian League, has called for the announced protests in support of the four KLA members to unite Albanians, regardless of their political views and affiliations.

During an interview on KohaCast’s “Rishtazi” program, Sela said that Albanian leaders should also be present at protests that may be held in Tetovo and other cities. He stressed that Bilall Kasami, Izet Mexhiti and Afrim should take part in these gatherings as Albanian citizens of North Macedonia, referring to the organizers’ call.
Sela said political clashes should not influence positions on issues he considers to be in the common interest of Albanians. According to him, even if the sides have major political differences and different perspectives, Kasami and Mexhiti should be part of the protest in Tetovo if it is organized.
His call was also addressed to every Albanian citizen, regardless of the party they belong to or the candidate they vote for. Sela emphasized that participation in protests should not depend on party affiliation and called for civic mobilization beyond political divisions.
