DUI says that while Minister Jeton Shasivari continues consultations and warnings regarding the bar exam, 52 candidates will take the exam in Macedonian during the October session, including 12 Albanians.

According to DUI, this situation does not resolve the issue, but merely postpones it.
The party recalls that when Shasivari was a professor, he criticized the then-minister of justice for obstructing the administration of the bar exam in Albanian. Now, as minister, instead of addressing the problem, he is seeking additional time, meetings and consultations. DUI believes this is the same approach seen among other representatives of VLEN: promises while in opposition, followed by delays and excuses after taking power.
“Albanian students do not need another promise, but a concrete and workable solution. Shasivari must explain: if the bar exam in Albanian is truly ‘close to being resolved,’ why do 12 Albanian candidates have to take it again in Macedonian during the October session? DUI calls for this issue to be resolved immediately and not turned into yet another postponed promise,” the party said in its reaction.
