In a letter congratulating Albin Kurti on his new term in office, Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar reaffirmed his country’s commitment to the security of the Republic of Kosovo and its support for Kosovo’s European integration. Ambassador László István Dux delivered the letter to Kosovo’s prime minister.

Magyar extended his warmest congratulations to Kurti on his election as prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo. In the letter, he stressed that Hungary recognizes Kosovo’s essential role in maintaining stability in the Western Balkans.
According to the Hungarian prime minister, the prosperity of the Western Balkans is of vital importance both to Hungary and to the European continent as a whole.
In this context, Magyar reiterated that Hungary would continue to contribute to Kosovo’s security through its participation in the KFOR mission, while also supporting the country’s path toward European integration.
