President of the Republic of Kosovo Justina Shiroka-Pula has received congratulations from Italian President Sergio Mattarella and his Croatian counterpart, Zoran Milanović, after taking office.
In his message, Mattarella expressed his wish to further strengthen relations between Kosovo and Italy. He stressed that Rome would continue to support Kosovo, including through its participation in the KFOR mission.

The Italian president also highlighted the importance of advancing domestic reforms in Kosovo to bring it closer to the European Union. Italy, he said, would stand by Kosovo throughout this process.
Croatian President Zoran Milanović also expressed his willingness to deepen cooperation with Kosovo, particularly on issues related to security and stability in Southeast Europe.
Milanović reaffirmed Croatia’s support for Kosovo’s inclusion in international organizations, highlighting its goal of joining the European Union and NATO. He also expressed hope that he would meet President Shiroka-Pula soon to discuss the further development of bilateral relations.
