During a protest outside the Ministry of Education, a citizen called for the punishment of the officer who, according to him, knocked a young man to the ground.

In harsh terms, the protester accused law enforcement of using violence against young people while, as he put it, protecting people he called thieves.
“The police officer who knocked the young man to the ground must be punished. Don’t brutalize our children; don’t touch them. You’re protecting thieves,” he said.
Mass protests in Tirana and other districts have been ongoing for five days. High school and university students have joined them, opposing Prime Minister Edi Rama and calling for the government to step down.
