The Kosovo Hospital and University Clinical Service has responded to reports about the arrest of the director of Mitrovica Hospital, who is suspected of threatening his wife by telling her that the same thing could happen to her as happened to Arlinda Zekaj.
The SHSKUK General Directorate has authorized its Legal Office to immediately contact the relevant institutions to urgently verify the allegations made public.

In its response, SHSKUK described the reports as deeply concerning and stressed that violence, in any form, is punishable and cannot be tolerated.
“These reports are extremely concerning to SHSKUK. Our institution takes a firm position: violence in any form is punishable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” the statement said.
The institution also said that measures would be taken against the director, depending on the official information obtained from the competent authorities.
“After receiving official information from the competent authorities, SHSKUK will take the strictest administrative and legal measures against the director in question,” the response said.
