Pristina Mayor Përparim Rama has commemorated Kosovo hero Zahir Pajaziti on the 64th anniversary of his birth.
In a Facebook post, Rama praised Pajaziti’s role in organizing and leading the resistance, highlighting his sacrifice in the service of the freedom of the Albanian people.

According to him, the hero’s figure and work will remain forever connected to the foundations of a free Kosovo, while his example will continue to inspire generations.
Rama wrote that the great figures of the nation have only birthdays, and that on this anniversary, the memory of Zahir Pajaziti is being honored.
He emphasized that Zahir gave the resistance organization, direction, and the strength of personal example.
Pajaziti’s name, Rama continued, represents the dignity of Albanian resistance, the honor of the liberation war, and the weight of a sacrifice that remains an obligation beyond every anniversary.
Free Kosovo will always have Zahir Pajaziti among its foundations. Generations will see in his work the model of a man who, at a decisive moment in history, devoted his entire life to the freedom of his people.
Rama concluded his message with a call for eternal glory for hero Zahir Pajaziti.
