Calls for Edi Rama’s resignation: Students march through Tirana, moving from one faculty to another and urging a class boycott

Today, students boycotted classes and marched through several faculties at universities in Tirana. The protest began at the University of Arts, where students left their classrooms and then headed to the Faculty of History and Philology.

The march continued to the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Law and then the Faculty of Natural Sciences, where other students joined them.

As they marched, the students called for a boycott of classes. Their slogans included “Boycott classes” and “Rama, resign.”

The students also chanted in unison: “Rama to prison.”
