According to Shasivari, cooperation between the two countries is particularly important because they are neighbors and their citizens have close ties, but also because they share responsibility for security, the rule of law and stability in the region.

He also stressed the need for institutions in both countries to share experiences and work together more closely.

In his meeting with Gërvalla, the focus was on strengthening cooperation in justice, combating corruption and advancing reforms in line with European standards.

Shasivari said the meeting reaffirmed the excellent relations between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of stronger institutional ties in justice, particularly for sharing experiences, consolidating the rule of law, combating corruption and advancing reforms in line with European standards.

Describing Kosovo as an important partner for North Macedonia, Shasivari said cooperation should continue and deliver concrete results so that institutions become more effective and citizens have confidence in the justice system.
