Haxhiu discusses parliament’s work with parliamentary group leaders

The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, met today with the leaders of the parliamentary groups. They discussed the work ahead for the Assembly, its priorities and how parliamentary sessions will be organized in the coming months.

Haxhiu wrote that the discussion was open and constructive. She stressed that parliamentary groups hold different beliefs and positions, a natural part of democratic pluralism. She said issues of common interest require full coordination, respect for differences and common ground wherever cooperation is possible.

She added that citizens expect responsibility and dedication, as well as decisions that address their needs and concerns and provide concrete responses to their expectations.
