Macedonia’s Ministry of Interior announced that yesterday (November 5, 2026), at around 4:30 p.m., police arrested E.O. (37) from Skopje at an establishment on Finska Street. Officers from the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs detained him on reasonable suspicion of an offense under Article 396 of the Criminal Code. During a search, officers found and seized a pistol in his possession.
Also yesterday, officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs arrested Z.I. (64) from Skopje in the Centar area. His detention followed a report that he had threatened a person with a firearm. After conducting checks and a search at the scene, police found and seized a pistol and a magazine containing ammunition. Another pistol magazine and ammunition were also found and seized in a Ford passenger car.
