Panorama Online has obtained photos of the two men arrested for fraud after they asked FSHF president Armand Duka for €100,000 while posing as Taulant Balla.

The photos were obtained by journalist Xhensila Kodra. The two young men, who were taken into custody, are suspected of involvement in the €100,000 fraud scheme. Edison Korra, 24, and Orest Balla, 23, are suspected of trying to obtain the money from FSHF president Armand Duka.
According to sources from the investigative team, the young men contacted Duka through the Signal app, posing as Taulant Balla and asking him to initially send the €100,000 in cryptocurrency.
Duka suspected it was an attempted fraud and contacted the State Police. After his report, investigators organized a controlled operation in which undercover agents posed as the people involved in the communication.
During their conversations, Duka told the suspects to contact his son, as he did not deal with matters related to cryptocurrencies. An undercover agent took on the role of Duka’s son and told the young men that the money would not be handed over in cryptocurrency, but in cash.
The parties then allegedly agreed that the money would be handed over in person in euros. The handover took place in Elbasan, where the two young men lived, and police intervened and arrested them in the act.
After their arrest, Korra and Balla did not provide detailed statements about the people who may be behind the scheme. According to investigative sources, the team’s suspicions have focused on Florian Gjergji, but this remains part of the investigation and is not an established fact.
