Jovanov’s representative said that a property bond of around 200,000 euros would be offered as assurance that he would not leave Macedonia. However, the bond is not necessary, as the law allows Jovanov to be held in pretrial detention for a maximum of one year, and that period expires in three days.
The documentation for the bond is still being reviewed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The court cannot rule on it until the documents are returned to the Criminal Court.
The Criminal Court announced that 49 hearings have been held so far in the “Pulse” case, with none postponed. More than 1,300 pieces of material evidence and 45 witnesses have been presented in the proceedings./Telegrafi/
