SDSM’s reaction came after Stoilkoviq appeared in Bitola alongside Milica Gjurgjević Stamenkovski, known as Zavetnica, a minister in Serbia’s technical government. The party referred to her positions on NATO, Russia and the war in Ukraine, as well as her statements about Srebrenica and Ratko Mladić.
“She publicly stated: there was no genocide in Srebrenica. This contradicts the final decisions of international courts. Regarding Ratko Mladić, she said: a general of the Republika Srpska, a man who defended the people. Mladić is a convicted war criminal,” SDSM said.
The party also claims that Stoilkoviq has expressed support for Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and has taken part in activities linked to Serbia. According to SDSM’s accusations, he was also involved in organizing transportation for a rally in Belgrade.
SDSM is calling for Stoilkoviq’s dismissal, describing it as inappropriate for a minister of North Macedonia to participate in political activities held in Serbia.
