New plenary session of the Assembly, five issues MPs will address today

MPs of the Kosovo Assembly will meet today in a plenary session expected to begin at 10:00, with an agenda of five items. Among the main issues to be discussed are the creation of a commission for selecting members of the Board of Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) and the approval of the Serbian List’s request to participate in Assembly committees.

Based on the official notice from the Assembly, the agenda begins with a review of the minutes from the previous meeting. After that, MPs are given space for statements outside the agenda, where they can raise topics of broad public interest.

Parliamentary questions make up the third item of the session, allowing lawmakers to receive clarifications and answers from government representatives about their institutional activities and duties.

The fourth item provides for the establishment of an Ad-Hoc Committee, which will lead the selection of candidates for four vacant seats on the RTK Board.

Two of these positions are reserved for representatives of the Albanian community, while one seat is designated for the Serb community and another for other non-majority communities.

As for the fifth item, it includes voting on the proposal submitted by the Parliamentary Group of the Serbian List, which seeks the appointment of MPs from this group to parliamentary committee structures.

The session will be held in the main plenary hall of the Kosovo Assembly.
