Muçunski said the Commission considers this alignment a clear signal of the country’s strategic commitment to EU membership, as well as evidence of its role as a reliable partner. According to the minister, last year’s recommendations have largely been implemented, and political dialogue with the EU on foreign and security issues remains active.

A positive assessment was also given to Chapter 30, “External Relations”. It highlights the high level of preparedness, alignment with the EU’s trade policy and active contribution to regional economic cooperation, Muçunski said.
