Police withdraw from Rinia Park after facing off with protesters

A group of protesters moved to Rinia Park, near Tajvan, where they faced a large number of police officers lined up in front of them.

Moments later, police forces withdrew from the area and headed toward the Prime Minister’s Office.

Earlier, police had detained one protester, while water cannon had been used extensively against the protesters. Footage also shows police forces moving in an attempt to disperse the crowd.
